Thank you for visiting my website!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Criminology at the Université de Montréal, supervised by Jo-Anne Wemmers. My research examines Canadian attitudes toward Indigenous Peoples to raise awareness of ongoing inequalities and to advocate for reparations in the aftermath of settler colonialism. I am also interested in studying and strengthening victims’ rights. Alongside my academic work, I serve as coordinator of the Justice Centre for Victims of Crimes (CJVAC). My research is supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
✨In collaboration with Ismehen Melouka and Prof. Jo-Anne Wemmers, we are currently accepting papers (primarily in French) for the journal Criminologie, Issue 60.1 (Spring 2027), titled “Decolonization and Justice: Multiple Criminological Perspectives.” More information available here. ✨
